What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when submit your request for membership, you register on our site and write a message.
When asking for an Invitation Code, you'll be asked to provide name, surname, email address and a short professional curriculum or profile.
When registering on our site, you'll be asked to enter your: name, surname, gender (optional), YAWYK group of interest, professional activity and e-mail address.
YAWYK does not collect or share other personal information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Regarding messages posted on YAWYK, their authors will be held fully responsible for the information they disclose in their messages.

What do we use your information for?

To check your profile consistency with YAWYK, and to help you in having the best positioning and acknowledgement. The email address you provide may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

YAWYK RULES

    Remember: only professionals in innovation related fields are members of YAWYK community, please mind your reputation.
  2. Search the other posts to see if your topic is already covered, do not double post (post the same message twice in one thread) or cross post (place the same message across several forums).
  3. Use a meaningful title for your thread.
    In order to be understood by most people, use correct English spelling, grammar and avoid slang.
  4. Do not use all caps or SHOUT in your posts.
    In addition, one exclamation point is enough.
  5. Do not submit a post that requires readers to download a large attachment.
    Either explain the attachment or, better yet, provide a link to the information.
  6. Take care in rating posts: at a given negative threshold they will be notified to the administrator, at a lower negative threshold they will be automatically erased.
  7. Stay on topic, write concisely and do not ramble; when replying to a post, do not quote more from the previous post than you have to, and only post responses when you have something to contribute with.
  8. Do not post new topics on someone else's thread interrupting a topic of discussion; watch your sense of humor, posts may be read by people from a variety of backgrounds.
  9. Do not post any information that you want private.
    Posts should not contain personal, identifiable information or content embarrassing to others.
